A forest fire has been creating havoc for a couple of days in the Sariska Tiger Reserve located in the Alwar district of Rajasthan. The blaze, which started on 27th March, has been brought under control, as confirmed by the officials. The firefighting operations are been carried out ever since the fire broke out. The Indian Air Force (IAF) has supported the operations with their helicopters.
The tiger reserve is home to more than 25 tigers and covers an area of 880 sq. km.
