3. Sree Krishna Swamy Temple, ALLEPPEY, KERALA
The temple is very uniquely designed and is believed to be 400 – 500 years old. It is dedicated to Lord Krishna and is famous for its palpayasam – a religious offering. The temple receives relatively fewer footfalls in the morning hours hence better to visit as early as possible.

4. CHENNAKESAVA TEMPLE, BELUR, KARNATAKA
The Hoysala Kingdom is remembered for its rich heritage of art, architecture, and literature. The inscription and workmanship on the stone walls have been educating every generation that followed after the completion of this sculptural extravaganza.
5. Talakaveri, Madikeri, Karnataka
One of the most sacred and revered temples of South India, Talakaveri is the source of the river Kaveri. The temple sits on the top of the Brahmagiri Hills amidst the coffee forests and spice gardens.

6. Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Varla Devasthanam, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh
The temple is known as Kanaka Durga Temple located at the top of Indrakeeladri Hill on the banks of the River Krishna. It is believed that Arjuna from Mahabharata had built this temple for Goddess Durga.
7. Sri Vadakkunnathan Temple, Thrissur, KERALA
The architecture of this temple complex consists of wood and stone and keeps the legacy of the traditional architecture of Kerala alive.
