Day 1:
Royal Tour and Luncheon

After having all the formalities completed and checking in, head to the City Palace, one of the major tourist and picturesque destination showcasing the history of Udaipur. Apart from this, the palace has been used for shooting some scenes in Bollywood movies Ye Jawani Hai Deewani and Guide.
Time duration: 90 – 120 min is recommended. Stay here till you soak in the cultural and historical significance of the place
Mode of transport: Public transport are available quite easily to get here.
After the City Palace is done. Head for lunch, just 1 km from the palace, at the Ambrai Restaurant near Ambrai Ghat where you enjoy authentic Rajasthani cuisines along with scenic view of the Pichola Lake.

Island, Lake and Cultural Tour
03:00 PM – 06:00 PM
After quenching your appetite go for a stroll around the Pichola Lake and reach Jagmandir Island by boat to enjoy the magnificent edifice on the island.
Jagmandir is an exquisite palace located at the southern part of Pichola Lake. This is a photographer’s paradise as they can get some memorable shots.
If you have deep pockets, you can grab some expensive snacks on the island
Time duration: 60 min will easily pass by once you start strolling around the island.
Mode of transport: Boat ride from Ambrai Ghat.
After the boat ride, pay a visit to Bagore ki Haveli museum which showcases the architecture and lifestyle of the royal family.
Bagore Ki Haveli was used as administrative centre by the Prime Minister of Mewar which has been converted into a museum. The museum remains open till 5:30 PM.

Day 2:
Trek, Sunrise and then Breakfast

After witnessing the sunset the previous day it’s time for the sunrise at Neemach Mata Hill, 6 km from City Palace / Pichola.
Eat light as you will be hitchhiking today, and the 20-min trek is worth the effort (WITHOUT A DOUBT!). Start as early as possible to get the mesmerizing view of the sunrise. This hill top is near the Fateh Sagar Lake and has amazing view of Udaipur city.

Mode of transport: Arrange for a cab beforehand at your hotel, public transport may not be available early morning.
After this proceed to the Heart of Udaipur city and Udaipurites’ favourite spot, Fateh Sagar Lake, at a distance of 2 km from Neemach Mata Hill.
The tranquil water of the lake makes it an oasis of serenity and a boat ride takes you in a different realm. Boating starts from 08:00 AM.

After enjoying the calm and serenity of the lake it’s time for some wholesome breakfast/brunch at the Bombay Market which is overseeing the lake.
Bombay Bazaar has an assortment of outlets for quick bites, pizzas, South & north Indian dishes, dessert parlours and many more. This is ideal spot for refuelling your energy level after an adventurous morning.

Mode of transport: A 10-min walk from the lake
Post breakfast, your mind will be all set for some lesson of history at the Moti Magri or Pearl Hill wherein is situated the Maharana Pratap Memorial which is famous for the iconic statue of the valiant and revered King along with his loyal horse Chetak.
After history, stroll around the hill for some Geography. Head to the top of this small hill wherein lies the views of the city along with the amazing views of Aaravalli Hills.

Luncheon, Sanctuary, Sunset and Garden excursion

For lunch, our recommendation would be Panna Vilas Restaurant as it has amazing view of Fateh Sagar along with sumptuous cuisines. Just 3 km from Moti Magri.

Head to the famous Sajjangarh Monsoon Palace post lunch which gives the panoramic views of the city’s lakes, palaces and the countryside. The palace is built with white marble. You have an option of visiting the sanctuary to be connect with nature.
Their souvenir shop offer wide range of local artefacts for tourists.
Be here till the sunset as this place provides beautiful view of the sunset which is an exhilarating experience in itself.

Mode of transport: Share taxis will drop at the palace for Rs 200 per person and Auto-rickshaws are not allowed to pass the sanctuary gate.
Roam around the city for a while and in the evening go to Sahelion Ki Baari which is one of the famous gardens in the city and popular tourist destination. The garden is known for its near perfect design and profoundness it has with pools, ponds and fountains.
An ideal place to relax and bring the sightseeing tour of a long day to a halt. It remains open till 07:00 PM.
Time duration: 45 min – 60 min
Mode of transport: Taxi ride will take 30 mins (Rs. 250 – 280)
Head back to hotel and can call it a day if not willing to step out any further.

Day 3:
Temple Tour and Luncheon

First spot to explore today is Dudh Talai Lake, adjacent to Pichola Lake, and seek blessings at Karni Mata Temple.
The views of the Dudh Talai Lake is quite enchanting. It has 2-3 parks which are located on the small hillock. There is a ropeway ride (people can climb as well if they wish) which takes you to Karni Mata Temple. The ropeway is the first one in Rajasthan and you get to see the beautiful views on the way and the entire view of Udaipur city once you reach the top.

For lunch, our recommendation is the famous Nataraj Restaurant which is well known in Udaipur for its veg thali.
Just 3 km from Karni Mata Temple, it takes a 10-min drive to get here. Very popular and pocket-friendly restaurant.

Sunset and Shopping

After the lunch, head to see an offbeat place, just 11 km from City Palace/Pichola area, Badi Lake to view the sunset.
Surrounded by hills, this lake is not as commercialized as other lakes and is considered as the hidden gem of Udaipur. It provides picturesque scenes for photo enthusiasts and a sense of calmness for others. Enjoy the experience to the fullest.
