About Kasauli

Kasauli is a small town and a cantonment at the foothills of the Himalaya. The region marks the beginning of the mighty Himalayan range. The hilly terrains form the lower Himalayan range. Being close to Chandigarh, it has emerged as a popular tourist destination of North India.

The town acts as a perfect staycation to beat the heat and get away from the hustle and bustle of cities.

The region is under strict administration of the Indian Air Force, hence order and discipline are given utmost importance.

When to Travel?

The best thing about Kasauli is that it offers pleasant weather year-round. Although, it is advised not to plan your travel during the monsoons as there have been incidents of landslides which eventually leads to roadblock. You can plan your stay anytime from October to May.
