About Mumbai

Mumbai (Bombay), often known as the city of dreams, is one of the widely visited tourist attractions in India. The city with its coastline, nightlife, food, and culture attracts tourists from all over the world.

The history of Mumbai can be traced from the beginning of 600 BC and the journey has a gripping story. The city displays an epitome of cultural and spiritual amalgamation along with stark contradiction in the way of life. The contradiction exists due to the fact that the rich and poor live side by side.

Exploring the city needs a good amount of time as it has a lot to offer to its visitors. Mumbai has 3 UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Street food, Iranian restaurants, modern cafes, and bars makes your food tour all the more exciting.

Hindi, English and Marathi are the common languages spoken here.

When to Travel?

Being a coastal city, Mumbai is best visited during November – March. Monsoon season creates havoc in the city and planning a visit must be avoided during that season.
