Kashmiri shawls, also knowns as Pashmina made of Cashmere Wool, are famous all over the world and are in high demand. Kashmiri cuisines are pretty famous across India.

Due to its scenic beauty and panoramic landscapes, multiple valleys in Kashmir are used in films. Some of the blockbusters shot in the region are – Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Betaab, Haider, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, Rockstar, Raazi, and many more.

Languages commonly used in this region are Kashmiri, Urdu, Hindi, and English.

When to Travel?

Kashmir is known for its snowfall and white cover valley in the winter season and lush green cover and freshness in the summer season. That’s why it is said to visit Kashmir once in winter and once in summer to experience both the colours of Kashmir. The best time to visit Kashmir in summer is June – September. The best time to visit Kashmir in winter is December – March.
