Located in Parvati Valley, this place is a hidden gem that boasts of mesmerizing beauty. Named after the river Tirthan, the valley houses a few Homestays managed by the locals. The magic of the place lies in the fact of how quiet it is. Away from the eyes of tourists. You feel lost in your own world, far away from all the thoughts and problems of your routine life. The sound of the river Tirthan adds to the beauty of the place.

The place doesn’t have any tourist spot. All you have is huge mountains, beautiful trees, a river and a few friendly dogs in your company. You could be walking across the bank of the river all day or just sightseeing across the valley or have a bike trip or just sit in the homestay looking at the beauty outside sipping tea. It is difficult to explain in words how it makes you feel. Simply put, the place gives you the peace that you seek. The eternal happiness that one longs for.
Moving a few kms above, you’ll find Jalori Pass. Trekking to the place adds to the magic and if you are lucky enough and visiting during Oct-March, you’ll be experiencing snowfall. If you are not into trekking, you can still reach there by car or bike. A few stalls there provide with the best Maggi and tea you’ll have.
