Bus services from airport to Esplanade is available in every 30 minutes.

Rail: Howrah Railway Station (HWH) and Sealdah Railway Station (SDAH) are the major railway stations in the city.
Public buses and taxis flock both these stations, so do people. Pre-paid taxis booth are also available within the station premises.

Kolkata can be reached from Chennai (1675 km), Hyderabad (1500 km), Vizag (880 km) , Bhubaneshwar (440 km) by National Highway 16.
