Jaisalmer Desert Sightseeing

On your way back to your hotel from the desert, you must visit Kuldhara.
Kuldhara was once a thriving community but now it is abandoned and haunted. The ruins of the village makes you keep wandering about the reason for its present condition. The views of destroyed houses in the middle of desert are unusual and cannot be seen elsewhere.
Time duration: 1 – 1.5 hours
You need to take a shower after the desert camp and get some meal at the hotel.
Historic Laungewala Battlefield
Mode of Transport: This attraction is 100 km from Jaisalmer hence you have to hire a cab for round trip.

02:00 PM – 07:00 PM
The last attraction in Jaisalmer will be the Longewala War Memorial.
The spot where 120 Indian soldiers fought against the well-equipped Pakistan Army during the war of 1971. Just 15 km away from the India-Pakistan border, the battlefield is now converted to a war memorial. It is closed at 06:00 PM.
Time duration: 45 min – 1 hour
40 km from the battlefield is the Tanot Mata Mandir.
The temple was the target of attack during the wars of 1965 and 1971. In spite of multiple attempts to destroy the temple, the temple still continues to give blessing to its disciples.’
Advice: You can also plan to visit Longewala War Memorial the following day at your own convenient time.
