Historical Sightseeing

Kempty Falls is 15 km from Library Chowk.

Kempty Falls is probably the oldest site in Mussoorie. It was discovered much before the Library building was constructed. This is not an ordinary waterfalls. The area has been developed into a thriving marketplace.

To reach the exact spot, we can take the stairways or the ropeway.

Time duration: 1 – 1.5 hours

There are plenty of road side dhabas. Stop by at any one of them if feeling hungry.

The last place to explore is the Happy Valley.

Happy Valley belongs to the Tibetan community of Mussoorie. Dalai Lama stayed in this particular place for 1 year before he left for Dharamshala. The ambiance is in complete contrast to that of the other tourist spots. Spiritual experience is what one looks for and eventually finds happiness.

Time duration: 2 – 3 hours.

Information for Trekkers: Adventure lovers will be keen to go on Nag Tibba Trek. The base camp for Nag Tibba Trek is at Pantwari village which is 40 km uphill from Kempty Falls.
