Spirituality is an important to people of Shimla and Christ Church is the place to begin your day.
The church has been in existence for more than 150 years. One of the oldest churches in Himachal Pradesh and also the landmark of Shimla. Spend few minutes inside the church and endure the legacy of colonial era.

After this, prepare for some adventure on the way to Jakhoo Temple.
Ropeway to the temple takes 10 minutes. You can also trek to the temple from the lane beside Christ Church. Jakhoo is the biggest hill of Shimla and has the tallest Hanuman idol. The temple is full of the “Vaanar Sena”. Be careful of not carrying any stuff in your hands. The monkeys tend to get a little naughty here.

Mode of Transport: 10 – minute cable car or 30-min trek.
Explore the Mall Road on foot. It is an absolute shopper’s paradise while you travel on the Mall road.
There are multiple eateries. Couple of famous places to have your meals are Café Sol and Café Simla Times.

Johnnie’s Wax Museum is a new tourist attraction in Shimla.
The museum was opened in 2016. The purpose is to expose the people of Himachal to the concept of wax statues. Statues of celebrities from around the world can be seen here. Not as grand as other wax museums, but worth a visit.
Time duration: 45 min – 1 hour
Mode of Transport: Walkable from the Mall Road.
The last attraction for the day will be Dorje Drak Monastry.
This is an off-beat attraction in Shimla. Not visited by many tourists, the place offers serenity and calmness. Here you will find everything about the Tibetan culture. A perfect place to wind up day’s sightseeing.
