Today’s itinerary begins with a visit to the hidden gem of South Goa, Galgibaga Beach.
Galgibaga beach is approx. 50 km from Colva, so you must start early. The striking of the beach is that you will not find any shack and the reason being the beach is nesting ground of Olive Ridley Turtles. The beach is protected and breeding of turtle is part of the conservation program. Many tourists are not allowed and if you can manage to make an early morning visit, you can get some glimpse of the turtles and their eggs. January and February are the two months when the chances of turtle sighting are the highest.

Next beach to explore is Palolem Beach, 10 km north of Galgibaga beach.
Palolem beach was India’s 5th and Asia’s 18th best beach. You can spend almost an entire day on this beach. Boating, stalls, restaurants, bars, the beach has got everything you can wish for. Palolem beach is another sought-after beach in South Goa, after Colva. So get a shack as soon as you get here.
Ferry services to Butterfly beach and Honeymoon beach can be availed from Paloloem beach. The round trip will take 1 hour.
Number of options for having your lunch in Palolem is plenty and due to large number of international tourists’ arrival, the area is known for serving cuisines from all over the world.

Sunset Beach

Agonda Beach is much quieter and has lesser crowd.
10 km from Palolem beach, Agonda beach is a perfect place to wind up a long day with beautiful sceneries of sunset. The beach has no shacks and thus the beach is not preferred amongst tourists. A walk along the coast line with the serene and secluded ambiance leaves a long lasting effect and you feel rejuvenated.

Party in the Jungle

Leopard Valley is a peculiar party venue in the lap of nature (Opens only on Friday).
5 km from Agonda beach, entrance in the Leopard Valley begins at 08:00 PM and the parties go on till 04:00 AM. This is the only well-known place for clubbing and often a targeted by the police. It is advised not to stay beyond mid-night.
