The bus and pre-paid services are excellent. Buses of different class ply frequently and taxi booths are in service for 24 hours.
Rail: Ernakulam Junction (ERS) is 3 km from M G Road and almost every train arriving or leaving Kerala halts at the station.
Road: Kochi can be reached from Mumbai (1350 km) and Thiruvananthapuram (200 km) via National Highway 66; Pondicherry (580 km), Bangalore (550 km), and Coimbatore (200 km) via National Highway 544; Madurai (300 km) via National Highway 85.
